Back from Toronto, and sad news...
Oct. 13th, 2003 10:43 pmI just got in from Toronto. OGWW was a blast! If you weren't there, you missed out on the best slumber party/improv festival ever! If you have no idea what I am talking about... nevermind. :)
The sad news: My precious kitty, Smokey, died while I was gone.He apparently had a seizure the night after I left and died during the night. I miss that sonuvagun... and so does his brother, Bandit. Which begs the question: Should I get another cat right away?

It will probably help you through this, too, as long as you don't see it as just filling in a hole in your life. It's helping both of you through the process of dealing with the loss of Smokey and giving Bandit a companion he needs.
Just my two centavos as a former kitty owner...

It's hard to say whether to get a new kitty kat straight away, as Bandit may in fact decide to push the new addition away, instead of accepting 'im.

Date: 2003-10-14 07:15 pm (UTC)I would say get a new cat right away, for Bandit's sake. I know it feels wrong, but it works out well, once you've got the new lil bugger.
and don't forget to get him/her from the SPCA!
