Are you ready for the Showcase Hoedown?
Jul. 21st, 2007 11:15 pmApparently Drew Carey has been offered the hosting job of The Price Is Right. This is according to the show's announcer, Randy West.
They're still several million dollars apart, but things look good for him to get the job.

Just got this from Jim Meskimen:
A few months ago I provided my impression of GeorgeW. Bush for a classroom project an artist in San Francisco was doing with some grade school kids. They had written short speeches for the president, and I was asked to record them in his voice for the children to listen to.
I'm not sure what the point of it was, but if it makes kids laugh, I'm all for it.
Now, the weirder part is, a flash animator named Scott Bateman has animated one of those speeches. You can watch it here: http://www.batemania.com/bateman365/day343.html
He is well into a project himself where he animates a short film everyday for a year. I think this one featuring my G.W. Bush is #343.
