In other developments, it turns out three cars were broken into last night. Someone heard something and came downstairs in time to get a license number of a possible perp, and someone else saw something useful. Management is working with HPD. Meanwhile, I have my crime report number, and I prepared a small flyer with a picture of my GPS unit and its serial number to take to the neighborhood pawn shops.

And now? I try to recover my peace of mind.
