The Rangers set a modern-era record for runs scored on Wednesday as they beat the Orioles 30-3.
        1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 R H E
TEX 0 0 0 5 0 9 0 10 6 30 29 1
BAL 1 0 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 3 9 1

...and then went on to win the second game of the doubleheader, 9-7.

Holy crap! What do you call that? It's not winning. I'd call it annihilating :) Poor, poor Baltimore. :) I've never seen a score that huge in my life!

Dang! How many pitchers did they go through?

*Wishes the Giants would stop choking in the 9th*

The Orioles used 4. Their starter lasted 5, then 2/3, 1-1/3, and 2. They were holding off because their 2nd game starter had just been called up from the minors, and they weren't expecting him to last long.
The Rangers used 2.
