Monday, October 2
Get up at 2:30 a.m. Drive to AUS to fly to BUF via JFK.
Connection delayed because the plane (puddlejumper) was delayed because it took them half an hour to get a wheelchair-bound woman on the plane at its previous stop, and another half hour to get her off at JFK.
Funny, they have a jetway for regional jets at BUF.
Arrive an hour late at BUF. Pick up rental car (Pontiac Torrent SUV). Drive to Sandusky, OH. Stay at Motel 6.

Tuesday, October 3
Get up early.
Hit the road to continue on road trip. Mark off several counties in northwestern Ohio and eastern Indiana.
Drive to Cincinnati, Ohio. Drive around downtown in a futile attempt to find the monument they show at the beginning of WKRP.
Stay in Mason, OH at Microtel Inn.

Wednesday, October 4
Get up early.
Drive to Columbus, OH to visit statehouse (37th visited).
Continue through Cleveland back to Buffalo.
Meet

fapiece at airport.

ladycrim's flight is delayed in Chicago due to weather.

fapiece and I drive around Buffalo because the airport is boring.
We find the Amigone Funeral Home (no picture, sorry).
We fail to find Quisp at Tops Friendly Market.
Met

ladycrim's flight 2-1/2 hours late.
Drive to Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Stay at the Days Inn and Suites a block north of Clifton Hill.

Thursday, October 5
Up earlyish. Perform various touristy activities in Niagara Falls, including joining the Army of Smurfs.
Pictures!
Get caught in traffic jam due to accident just north of Hamilton. Continue to drive to London.
Meet

ejumean at the hotel (Best Western Stoneridge Inn).
Relax for a minute or so. Meet

jjloa for dinner at Moxie's.
Locate Real Canadian Superstore five minutes after close.
Sleep.

Friday, October 6
Go back to Real Canadian Superstore for some shopping.
Caravan to Toronto to

adc14's apartment.
See several shows at the Bad Dog.

Saturday, October 7
Shopping! I left HMV and the World's Biggest Bookstore for much less than I thought I would.
Dinner at Mr. Greenjeans.
RIP A Dish Called Wanda.
More shows at the Bad Dog.

Sunday, October 8
Improv jam at the Bad Dog.

Monday, October 9
Up earlyish.
Say farewells at Tim Horton's.
Drive to border.
Wait at border.
Finally cross border. Make it to airport just in time for my flight, if it had been on time.
BUF-ATL flight departure delayed due to late equipment. Arrival delayed due to runway construction.
ATL-AUS flight departure delayed due to runway construction. Arrive in AUS an hour late.
Drive back to Houston.

Total new counties: 26 in 3 states (MI, OH, IN).
Finished state: 1 (Ohio).
Time spent with my best friends: Priceless.
