Quick road trip notes.

I had to get out of town and see some countryside, so I hopped in the car and drove to Texas' second largest city, San Antonio!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to meet up with aggieteacher00, but I did enjoy yummy Mexican food at El Pollo Loco, and did some sightseeing.

I wonder if he knows he has a street named after him in Leon Valley:



Unfortunately, the next celebrity is no longer around to complain that both San Antonio and Leon Valley misspelled his name:





(This subdivision has a number of streets named after Hollywood people and places: Gabor Drive, Gillis Drive, Ben Casey Drive, Ponderosa Drive, McQueen Place, Edie Adams Drive, Ernie Kovak (sp.) Drive (these two are not near each other), Lon Chaney Drive, Cary Grant Drive, Errol Flynn Drive, Charlie Chan Drive, Dan Duryea Drive, Danny Kaye Drive, Gomer Pyle Drive, George Burns Drive, Dean Martin Drive, Alan Hale Drive, Gary Cooper Drive, Alan Hale Drive, Slattery Drive (not that Slattery, I don't think)...)
