I'd like to have a lot of you participate in this, in the interest ofgetting to know each other better. Even if you feel we already knoweach other really well, I've found there's always a lot to still learnabout even close friends. And because I learn about you partially byasking questions, yet sometimes find that asking questions isinappropriate without a context, here's this entry.

Ask me aquestion about myself. :) Be it something factual or philosophical or..anything that feels *important*, really. Something you desire toknow. I will do my best to answer, unless I am unsure of the answermyself. There's not a lot I can think of that I wouldn't want to talkabout, but I'll try to answer about those things too. :)

And if you'd like, and I would certainly enjoy if you would, ask your Flist to ask you questions too. :)

What would you be doing, if you were not in the media business?

That's hard to say. I guess I'd probably be an engineer of some kind. I knew I wanted to go into journalism from junior high school.

If you could change your appearance, who would you make yourself look like?

It's well-known that you'd love to live in Canada. Is there a specific area/province/city where you'd prefer to make your home?

I've never been to western Canada, so my experiences are limited to Ontario, Québec and New Brunswick.

Ontario -- Toronto, where else? It's the centre of the universe! I like the Thousand Islands and Muskoka as well.

Québec -- Montréal and the Eastern Townships (south of Sherbrooke toward the Vermont line) would be my choices there, mainly for the language issue: my French is okay for occasional use, but I discovered on my road trip to Chicoutimi and Québec City that it's not good enough for day-to-day life.

New Brunswick -- Maybe Fredericton.

Toronto's still my top choice.

Has the new job been worth the move? Are you going to be there for a long time?

I'm really enjoying the new job. The only thing that could have made it better would be if it were in Dallas instead of Houston. That said, I'm getting used to Houston, even starting to like some things about it.

Will I be here for a long time? For now, I suppose that depends on the job. And since it's going well, I suppose I'll be here for a while. But that won't stop me from wanting to move to Canada.
