County counting highlights:

This trip covered about 3000 miles.

42 counties added to the list this trip, including two in Michigan that I thought I had been to before. Current county count is 2329, or 74.1% of the total of 3141. (For Canada: 149, or 50.9% of the total of 293.) (For Mexico: 4, or 0.2% of the total of 2442. I don't plan to finish Mexico.)

Illinois and Indiana are now complete. I have now been to every county in 28 of the 50 states.

Capitol buildings in Springfield, Lansing and Indianapolis now visited. I have now been to 40 of the 50 state capitol buildings. (Remaining: AK, HI, ID, MT, NC, ND, OR, SC, SD, WA, and the US Capitol) (For Canada: remaining legislative assemblies are AB, BC, MB, NL, NS, PE, SK, NT, NU, YT)

Unchanged is the count of 45 of the 50 states visited (remaining are AK, HI, MT, ND, WA).

What's next? Depends on where I take my pre- or post-OGWW road trip. Maybe West Virginia and Kentucky, maybe Wisconsin and Michigan.
