Date: 2005-06-26 06:08 pm (UTC)1. Not born yet
2. Not quite in kindergarten so I don't remember
3. Probably in school. I went to private school at the time but I remember vividly an episode of Punky Brewster that delt with this issue.
6. Finally I was in high school - I think a sophomore
8. That was the month that I lived in Tiajuana
12. Sleeping. I remember waking up around 11 to Cliff's friend Jose sending an e-mail about everyone being sent home to work for the day. Cliff shot an e-mail back about not getting used to that because it's a cool thing to do and he'll want to do it all the time. Then Cliff's mom called to tell us to leave Chicago because they're bombing all of the major cities. Then, finally, I got up and turned on the TV to finally find out what had happened.
13. Again, sleeping. Dale Sr. called us to tell us.
15. Probably at the Chronicle.

Date: 2005-06-26 10:47 pm (UTC)2. In the car, en route to Spokane from Cd'A to see my dad who was in the Vet's Hospital.
3. Recovering from THE car accident, on massive painkillers, so I remember seeing the coverage and being slightly detached from everything.
4. Probably living in the Exploitation Apartments.
5. I don't remember. Probably the same as #4.
6. Recovering from Lauren's winter break from school for her kindergarten year (almost typed "kinderfarten"--that's how tired I am from gardening and housework at the moment).
7. Getting over my breakup with Jerry, most likely.
8. I remember seeing a bit of the coverage, then changing the channel. I didn't care about OJ.... just hoped they caught him.
9. Working in Seattle at the shelter.
10. Visiting my dad's house (the same trip where I first got into Whose Line!) after my mom's death. Both of us trying to regroup. The #1 reason I remember that is because she's a very distant cousin of mine.
11. Feeling the aftershocks in Spokane!
12. In our apartment on Monroe. We had no TV at the time--ours had quit--and got the news about the attack while talking online with John's mom. I was never so glad to be without a television, after hearing what sorts of images were being shown. My kids didn't need to see those things!
13. Sleeping in our bed in the apartment underneath PsychoKris. Or as close to sleeping as she would allow us to get.
14. Working on the Senior Wellness Conference details and searching for a house to buy.
15. Recovering from too much cake and Mongolian Grill at Lauren's birthday party the day before, I'm sure. If it weren't Lauren's birthday on the 4th, I probably wouldn't care about him passing. He's not my favorite...
PS: Joz, I am wowed that you were conceived the weekend JFK was shot, and that the explosion of the Columbia explosion woke you up. (I don't know why, I know where you were at the time, and it makes sense, but still...)
