No dialtone

gridlockjoeTelephone service is out in my area. AT&T's online tool says:
Four days without telephone service? *shrug* Call me at work or on cell if you need me; I'll try to remember to leave the cell on.
ETA: Just used my cell phone to call the repair number to see if a human could tell me more. The automated screening program asked me if I was getting a dial tone. After pressing 2 for no, it asked me if I was calling from the number that was having trouble... *sigh*
