In my previous life as a traffic reporter in Dallas, one of my favorite gigs was on what was then 94.5 the Edge. I wasn't into alt-rock; I enjoyed it because of the DJ, "Brian the Butler". Excellent pipes, English accent. We got on great. He wanted to call me "Joe Junction" (I replaced "Tori Turnpike"). Fortunately I talked him out of that.
