LJ linkjacking update
Mar. 5th, 2010 03:16 pmAccording to this, the Javascript in question was supposed to have appended LJ's affiliate tags only to links that did not have affiliate tags. The code was pulled when it was discovered that it didn't. Then the redirection was discovered, so LJ says they are not going to continue to use the service.
kylecassidy (who is on the LJ Advisory Board) posts this update.
And
shatterstripes has done much sleuthing: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.
