The BBC was planning on posting ALL of its TV (and radio) archives online for free viewing. Now reality is setting in as teams of lawyers are confronted with some nasty copyright issues. So the BBC is backing off with new promises that it will only open up content which is deemed to be "otherwise unprofitable or non-commercial." (Translation: not the good stuff).
