myodana did, I suppose I should give a life update too.
As of today I have survived living in Houston for six months. It's not home, but it's not bad. Of course, summer hasn't started yet, so ask me how I feel in a few months' time.
Otherwise, I suppose my biggest news is that I'm now part of an improv troupe! I went to Improvaoke a few weeks ago and played a few games. Afterward, I was talking withlil_ms_drama and the others in the troupe, and I mentioned my Comedysportz training. I came back for a few weeks, and was invited to come to a rehearsal practice... and whaddaya know, I'm in!
We videotaped a demo for the Dallas Comedy Festival yesterday;lil_ms_drama was there but feeling unwell, so the other five pressed onward and, after an hour of trying to get the audio from the studio into the control room, we taped a longform scene.
I have also met up with some nice Firefly fans through Meetup.
However, there's been no progress on the love life front. sigh...
Not much else new from this end. Looking forward to Toronto! (Anyone else going to show up? I thinkejumean is the only one who's committed other than me.)
Watch for more actual content from me soon... but don't hold your breath.
