It's a meme!: Where I've been

Considering I had only ever left Texas twice before I was 18, and that to bordering states (Louisiana and Coahuila). But I made up for lost time:

visited 45 states (90%)
Create your own visited map of The United States

And north of the border, to my adopted Canadia. Working on it:

visited 3 states (23.0%)
Create your own visited map of Canada

I'm aiming to visit every county in North America. Here's my progress:

I really need to get out of North America more:

visited 3 states (1.33%)
Create your own visited map of The World

I'd say you really do need to get out of North America more often... but you've seen mine, am I one to talk?

If I'm reading this correctly you haven't seen Alaska yet! When you get up this way I'd love to see you again. :)

I have no clue how many counties Alaska has but I think you may need to take a small plane to reach some of them. :)

You're right, I've never been to Alaska. The bad news is there are no counties in Alaska. The good news is that there are 18 boroughs, and yes, I'll need to catch a plane to get many of them (like the Aleutian Islands!) If I drive from Anchorage to Fairbanks and then take the tour van to Prudhoe Bay, I would get Anchorage, MatSu, Denali, Fairbanks-North Star, the unorganized borough, and North Slope. So 5 out of 18 plus the unorganized borough.

It's pretty sad to realize I've been here two years now and didn't realize we don't have a county! I'd have to use wikipedia to find out the difference between a county and a borough.

When you want to do Gaspésie, Eastern New Brunswick, PEI and Nova Scotia, let me know! I'd love to tour my old region again and there are some areas I haven't seen yet, like Gaspésie, Cape Breton Island and the Original Acadian Settlements of Grand-Pré, Port-Royal(Annapolis Royal) and Beaubassin (Amherst).
