Did I mention how much I hate this city?

It started out as such an ordinary day.

Then I got to my car at 8:15 and found that it had been broken into overnight.

Missing are some CDs (mostly homemade, which I can remake, no problem) and my GPS unit.

No damage to the car.

Major damage to my well-being.

Am waiting on a call back from the police, who will take my report.

Could use a hug.

Am looking askance at our gated community with 24-hour manned gate and video surveillance.

Edit: And I don't really hate Houston... any more than any other native Dallasite. ;)

::hugs:: that sucks. my dad's car was broken into a few years ago, so I know how you feel.

Thanks. I'm just disheartened. I chose the condo complex I did because it was so safe (only 1 police call in the previous year).
